Teachings vary including: medicine wheel, sweat lodges, visioning, earth medicine, power animals, sex, working with both male and female energy, stone people, plant people, pipe ceremony, shamanic healing, etc. Some teachings will be in circle, however most will be experiential on the land.

Apprenticeship in the old time was a total commitment to learning the sacred ways of helping people, through long and rigorous training with a medicine person. When folks wanted to apprentice they approached a medicine person first with gifts – horses, blankets, furs, tobacco, food – and then with their requests to learn medicine ways. During the first year and, often, for a longer period of time, an apprentice served the medicine person by taking care of his or her physical needs… gathering firewood, carrying water, tending horses, cooking meals. By doing these tasks with a sacred attitude, the apprentice would demonstrate the attitude with which he or she intended to serve “the people” after gaining medicine knowledge and power. During the first year, there was no guarantee that he or she would be found worthy of, or ready for, apprenticeship in a fuller sense.

This program is 13 months which can be entered at any time as teachings will be repeated . Cost for the program is $2,200.00 and monthly payment plans are available.
