Spiral Dance

A Ritual for Women to Honor the Sacred Goddess and Dance the Spiral of Rebirth

The Spiral Dance, now thousands of years old, is a profoundly moving experience designed by the ancients to invoke the mysteries of Spirit as they relate to our primal urge to be cocreators.

By participating in this rite of passage, preserved by women through the ages in many forms, one will experience an awakening of the cellular memories which returns us to a full realization of our sexual power and creativity.

An intensely personal experience, the Dance invokes a consciousness of our desire to be aligned and balanced with nature-to be in touch with the changes of season and moon phases which signal our own passages and changes. The Dance returns us to our pre-Christianity origins when the feminine energy of the goddess prevailed and the male/female energy was balanced through participation in sacred ceremony. It was a time when the desire to unite Body and Spirit was gracefully celebrated.

Shenayda Deane, a teacher and counselor, is highly trained in various body therapies as well as interpersonal and partnership counseling. A truly gifted healer, she specializes in integration therapies. She has clear memory of carrying the energy of the goddess of ancient Egypt and Atlantis and knows that she has been called into service to assist men and women with their initiation into their feminine energy through the re-creation of these ancient temple rites.
