The Sun goes into Capricorn on the 21st of December, as Mercury makes its station into Capricorn what follows is Mars, Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto. This is a very powerful conjunction that speaks to us of a time of practical re-evaluation of what we have seen as our foundations and at the same time that which is reality. Our greatest asset at this time is restructuring. The suggestion is that we refrain from judgment particularly of self and others. Let us consider what we can do and take the necessary action to move into those changes.

Dear Aries: At the end of December with the sun now in Capricorn, you see some very obvious challenges around what you have not taken responsibility for and now need to shape shift for the best of all concerned. This actually is a very powerful month for you and it can still be challenging if you do not make the changes necessary.

Dear Taurus: You actually can see clearly what needs to be done, with your earth nature you begin at the foundation and start building your homes. (this is a metaphor) Manage your money and enjoy the sensual comforts of home and loved ones. This is a good time to invest and to consolidate.

Dear Gemini: You can see possible options at this time for the new year and know there are many projects that are at your fingertips. Again remember to have backing and support. You are the forerunner for the changes in ‘09. So make sure you write your ideas down and allow yourself to contemplate rather than just run off half cocked.

Dear Cancer: You know and feel your part in the universal picture right now, the questions you will ask yourself are, in what way can I support and fund the people and programs that are now beginning. Now is a time to make the important contacts that can sustain the long range possibilities.

Dear Leo You find yourself more prudent as Mercury goes retrograde on January 11th aligning with Ceres and Saturn. Important male figures and mentors are showing up to assist you in what you value the most.You find yourself willing to monitor your spending and extravagances.

Dear Virgo: Very much like Capricorn and Taurus, you have a strong practical viewpoint at this time. Excited as well about new people, the interactions and the development of new ways and systems of making money and creatively generating. This time can promote a very strong creative side to your nature as you gather the information and activity surrounding you.

Dear Libra: This month has challenges as well as movement. You will begin to see changes that you have been waiting for for a long time. The value of this time is, that you have to be willing to face issues and issues that have to do with letting go regarding people, places and things. The lining up of Jupiter, Venus and the moon allows us to feel more loving. Tears of unknown origin fill our hearts and eyes. I call it a cleansing after a movement of darkness… as a veil is lifted, we know we must move on to our greater destiny even if it is hard or challenging. New hope for the world sings in our ears. We are beginning to really know we are in this world together. We all survived the tail of Scorpio and interesting enough the influence of hope prevails. Scorpio highlighted transformation and change and so the ride of transformation and change begins. We have also experienced Uranus, Neptune and Pluto moving direct, which means we are preparing for the flow of change to occur. Our primary transformation in Sagittarius is Pluto making its permanent station in Capricorn. Aries: Dear Aries, the optimism of Aries is in full swing. Become excited with new possibilities and a way to direct your life and initiate new projects. Taurus: Dear Taurus, you are your same plodding self this month and even more so after the 13th of December as Mercury makes its station into Capricorn. You are busy continuing to fortify your resources and making good choices around investments. Remember that keeping money flowing refreshes the world and the economy as we know it. However, with Jupiter again in Capricorn you are not likely to expand as much as you would like, so buy special practical gifts or plan romantic rendezvous.

Gemini: Dear Gemini, as the Sun moves into opposition the focus can often be highlighted for you and your perspective around significant others. As always, remember that having fun rather than over thinking situations is your best approach. Your social skills are heightened and you could even put more focus on your current partner and/or meet a significant other at this time.

Cancer: Dear Cancer, a good deal of your time seems to be around making sure your loved ones are safe and have what they require. Your need to help financially is increased, as well as, assisting them with creating peace and love in their lives. Remember at this time of year particularly near the end of December it is a time when gatherings around the home is what you are most fond of.

Leo: Dear Leo, this time of year brings in the major focus of heart energy, which is one of Leo’s key words. The parties, the glitter, the giving is what brings Leo’s pleasure. While the world is focusing on the upcoming elections, the economy, personal needs — food, shelter, clothing — we are reminded that these three key words are to be implemented.

Simplify:

Diversify:
Diversification means allowing the creative flow of ideas and service that are needed at this time. What a slow start this “one” universal year has been, as a small trickle of energy flow begins to find it’s way to our wanting minds. Survival and thriving is on our dawning thoughts, for some monetary, for some emotional. I’m more aware than ever that the divine order is in charge, whether we like it or not.

So stand up, show up and remind ourselves “now is all we have.” We can fight it, or we can allow the movement of our lives. Take in the joy of being alive and able to smell, taste, feel and spring into new possibilities.
