A Student of Life

In the small book called “The Feet of the Master”, it states:

A student of life has

1. Direction and discipline of the mind. A calm mind means also courage, that is, refusing anger to dominate, using thought power rather than let it use you.

2. Right action to be useful. thought moves to action, leaving others to do their own work, in their own way. In taking up higher work, ordinary duties are not forgotten.

3. Compassion. You have no way of knowing what another needs or feels. Trust that they are doing the best they can.

4. Cheerfulness. Keep your mood up, you cannot serve others if life gets you down.

5. One-pointedness. Stay true to your path and dream.

6. Confidence is to trust yourself and continue to know the real you, and love yourself and your fellow man like God loves you.

As a student of life, I wish you well. Thank you for your light in this world of change.
